The STIHL FS 56 C-E gas brushcutter is suitable for maintaining larger yards and grounds in both professional and domestic work.

The economical and powerful STIHL 2-MIX engine enables you to mow larger lawns quickly and efficiently. STIHL ErgoStart makes this gas-driven brushcutter very easy to start. A smooth, even pull is all you need to start the engine. Then the STIHL FS 56 C-E brushcutter really showcases its qualities, especially when working on large areas of tough grass.

The single-handed multi-function handle makes your work easier, as it lets you operate the brushcutter with just one hand. You can effortlessly remove tough grass and even nettles and reeds using the 230-2 grass-cutting blade that comes as standard. The STIHL FS 56 C-E brushcutter can also be used with optional line mowing heads for thorough clearing work around trees, fences and hedges. The ergonomic bike handle (mowing handle) supports the natural scything movement and facilitates efficient work, especially on larger green areas in your private yard.

For longer periods of use, we recommend using the harness supplied as standard. This distributes the weight of the STIHL FS 56 C-E gas-driven brushcutter across your body, making your work easier.

Stihl Ergostart: Effortless Starting. STIHL ErgoStart saves you energy when starting your power tools. A smooth and even pull on the starter cord is all that’s needed. The required speed on the starter cord is significantly reduced, and the engine starts quickly and reliably even with a slow pull. An additional spring between the crankshaft and the starter cord roll makes this easier.
